A4 Radio problems

Just after a bit of a second/third.... oppinion please. Have an A4 B6 Saloon with Concert II (non-bose). i) Really bad radio reception which has gradually (over the past 3 months) got worse. ii) The left and right speakers are a bit intermittent. I think i) needs new aerial amplifier above rear wind...

Traction control light and ABS light on together

Both these lights came on this morning within a few minutes and stayed on. But on switching off/on they have stayed off again. Don't have my VAGCOM to hand but does this sound like the onset of a faulty brake switch as it did seem to coincide with the first braking. Anyone know the part number for t...

Keep your eye on eBay. I waited a good month before a suitable one appeared - much cheaper though.

My wipers have suddenly gone very very very slow. I see from this thread that its a common problem and that its more likely to be the linkage rather than the motor? Is it just the joints of the linkage assembly which need wd40/oiling/greasing???

OMG - I didnt realise how close the knobbly bit can be to the vreds - I think I'm going to have to get the angle grinder out asap!!!!

Mine did a similar thing and turned out to be low ATF as an oil pipe to the cooler was weeping. Luckily a flush and new ATF and seems ok. Hope it's as simple as that for you. Def worth a shot.

I couldnt remember to be honest as it was about 18 months ago. Knowing Audi, £250 is probably right!!

The LCD in mine started to appear blotchy. Did some research to see if it could be repaired - basically - very tricky and not worth the effort. I just kept on eye on ebay and eventually picked up a second hand one for £40 - simple to replace. I think they are about £150 new
