RS2 Spares
With my RS2 days over I have a couple of worthwhile spares. Firstly, for the purist an original Dunlop 245 RS2 tyre (yes the one they stopped making years ago). This was on as a spare but taken off when I bought some new 225's. Probably used once, otherwise as new. Offers? Secondly, for all you RS2 ...

Come on people
Don't be shy....
This is a genuine car in excellent condition. Cheap due to Cat C, nothing else. In all other respects this is probably one of the best. Just did 700 miles around Wales this weekend, fantastic and so easy.....
Talk to me?
Best, Rowland

Another source
Try Ebay both in the UK and Germany. Ebay.de has a lot of RS2/993 parts. Use a translator like bablefish to get the german for 'fog light' so you plug in the correct thing. Lastly remamber that near side in Germany (LHD) is the opposite to UK (RHD) so when they say drivers side they mean the light o...

RS2 Grill fixings
How come I'm the last to find out these are now out of manufacture?
If anyone has some stashed away (I believe there are 7 in a pack) I'd be truly grateful as my RS2 grill is currently hanging on by 3.
You can contact me directly at friends@portquarter.co.uk
Many thanks

Parts
Thanks for the replies So far have sourced a new (recon) rack from Audi @ 530 GBP + VAT Rear callipers are 380 GBP + VAT from VagParts but have now discovered the FNS calipper is seizing (my luck!) so may be tiome to consider big red. Anyone any views on big red parts? I know VagParts do a kit and t...

Sources for RS2 parts
Ok fellow RS2 people, it's time for me to address those little (and not so little) issues which are beginning to niggle my otherwise solid (of three years) RS2 ownership... Typically I use VagParts for most things but wondered whether you, my fellow RS2 friends would know of better (ie cheaper for O...

Fuel consumption
Having had my RS2 for three years I'd say 20mpg is about average. Mine has the quattrosport 360bhp upgrade so this may make the consumption worse than normal. I do notice that with the turbo kicking in big time at about 3,500rpm (80mph in 6th) I can get 25+ at this speed wheras anything quicker (wit...

S4 8x18 alloy(s) as New
I have 2-3 for sale, taken from a delivery mileage S4. There were 4 but I've used one as a replacement for one damaged on my A4 Cabrio. May keep one more for the spare hence 2-3. I have one currently advertised on ebay (for next 6 days). These are genuine Audi/AVUS 8x18 S4 alloys with an ET45 offset...

2 x Dunlop Sport SP8000 245/40ZR17 available
For the purists amongst you I have two of the original spec tyres available. To say they're rare does not come close to expressing how difficult these are to find! One was my spare and is as close to unused as a SH tyre can be (the bawbles are still on the tread!). The second is part used (not sure ...

Available - 1 virtually new SP8000 245/40/ZR17
Having thought I was running SP8000 they turned out to be SP9000 on (much) closer inspection. The good news is that the spare is a virtually new (still has bobbles) SP8000, that now impossible to find original fit tyre. Since I'm changing to 5 x Michelin PSII of 225/45 size this is now surplus. Offe...

Re: CATs & stink bombs
Turns our both the cats were removed when the car was upgraded to 360bhp (MTM by QuattroSports). Still seems to pass the MOT (!!). In this instance the problem was traced (via diagnostics) to the lambda sensor. Purchased new audi part from VagParts @ GBP 89 + VAT (Audi GBP 147+VAT). Continue to be i...

CATs & stink bombs
My RS2 smells when cold (like a stink bomb - H2S). Does this indicate a CAT problem?
If so can anyone suggest a source other than Audi (who want £495+VAT each)
Many thanks
