RE: Engine management gremlins!

I had a fault recently that only happened with a bit of rain, but my car would go into limp mode. Diagnostics at John Fox showed that the fault was the throttle pedal potentiometer, so that was changed (£130), only for the fault to reoccur 2 months later. When I pointed out to them that the fault ha...

would have been great if you'd have been involved in a crash only to discover your insurance was invalid due to the car being modified

Jon was your policy to cover an RS4? If so I'd be curious to know why I paid more than you. I know the prices had just increased prior to my purchase but £300??? I thought prices were fixed to engine size. Yes it was for my RS4, but I bought it in June last year - Audi couldn't offer a further exte...

I've got the 5th year warranty from Mondial. Paying them the best part of £1200 has saved me having to pay for a £4k gearbox rebuild, an interior door handle, and a front door speaker so far.....

Myself and two friends are running Falken 502s on cossies (road and track use) nd they're good tyres - good grip and wear. They are cheap, but there's no comparison with other budget tyres. If I found them in the right size/load rating/price for my RS4 when my PS2s wear out, I'd fit them no probs.

I just had both sensors replaced at John Fox on Wednesday. The left and right part numbers are different - one ends with an F, the other with a G. I haven't given the old girl much of a thrashing yet, but seems OK to me so far. Its funny how you don't notice the performance dropping if it happens gr...
