RS6 Avant Rattle
My 2004 RS6 has developed a rattle when on uneven roads (loads in Bucks!). It seems to come from the rear half of the car on the drivers side and sounds like something metallic tapping on something else metallic?? It is not a heavy tap but a light rattle. I have checked the heatshields all around th...

Can anyone point me in a good direction for replacement front discs and pads in Bucks/Berks. Have been quoted between £860-£960. Does that sound about right?

RS6 DRC Update: Thanks to all who gave me advice. Took the car the Aylesbury Audi as recommended by Golfather. They were extremely helpful and efficient. They checked the car out for free while I waited (cost me £70 for all day at Slough!). Aylesbury Audi confirmed what has been said in the forum th...

Update: Slough Audi have resubmitted forms to Warrantywise stating that the seal leak is causing a failure to the shock. Warrantywise (sponsored by Quentin Willson - I should have known better!) have now said that they will not accept the claim as there has not been an "immediate failure". In other ...

Thanks FuriousJim. Interesting price for complete renewal compared to my one corner job! Update: Had a call from Slough Audi at 6.30 last night saying they have spoken to Warrantywise and have had it explained how to fill the claim form in properly! Apparently they had not been clear on the claim fo...

Have called Slough Audi who won't let me speak to the technician responsible for the diagnosis (not company policy) and the Service Desk man is "not qualified" to explain why wear and tear was the diagnosis! I await a call from the Workshop Manager...nothing since this morning. The service desk had ...

Unfortunately need to add my DRC problem to the list! I have a 54 plate RS6 Avant with 42K on the clock. Diagnosed by MRC (very helpful bunch) with a slight leak in the n/s/r shock. Advised to go to main dealer so went to nearest (Audi Slough) and they confirmed it for me for £71.88 (how kind). Have...
