Re: Famous Avus
Hi guys and Amanda. I miss the banter on this forum so I decided to log in and saw this topic on my ex. Just to confirm, next to my Lotus Carlton, this is the most reliable car I ever owned. New box from Audi in 2009 at 51k and box serviced just before sale. Timing belt changed end of 2011. DRC chec...

Drill through these 2 to remo...

Front fogs removal
Does anyone know how the front foglight and surround comes off? There is some sort of daft rivets that seem to be part of the problem of removal. Thanx

ATF changed
Took my RS6 in for an ATF change today. The reason for this was there was a slight weep from the gearbox sump gasket. Audi had fitted a new box in 2009, and car has only done 9k ish since. The sump bolts were loose and a chunk of the gasket was missing. Took some photos to email to Audi so I can cus...

Re: New updates on car
How can anyone say that the wind deflectors don't look nice (although they are right), the main point here is that he got rid of the fugly wood interior!!! Good work, now everyone else with wood should follow suit! I dont agree. The wood looks and feels much better than the cheap and nasty tacky ca...

Re: Steering Wheel Porn!
Paddle shifts are naff. With the buttons you can change up/down from either side. Why would you want to change up/down from either side? Unless you're Richard "Rick" Allen from Def Leppard then I don't see the point. I have both hands on the wheel, I change gear with either a twitch of my left hand...

Re: Steering Wheel Porn!
In the family we have 3 RS6's. 2 saloon and 1 estate. Mine is the only one with the half wood, half leather wheel with tiptronic buttons. The wheel is so smooth to the touch and easy to clean. Paddle shifts are naff. With the buttons you can change up/down from either side. I will try to get a bette...

IMO, this is how a C5 RS6 Steering wheel should be like.
Now I've posted, I will just sit back and wait for the comments.

Re: HELP! car alledgely beyond repair
Ask for cash in lieu. You will get car back as is, cash for the value quoted for damage and they wont put the car on the register.
