Thank you.

This is what I thought, just wanted to make sure. Excess air from the right side will go through the vent pipe from left to under the boot.

Cheers.

Re: Battery recommendations

Hi There
On the 610 200 Varta Silver Dynamic Car Batter, do you need to remove both red plugs? My RS4 has only 1 exit pipe to fit the battery. Would removing only 1 plug (transit plugs) be sufficient?

RS4 B7 2006 Changing oil in Haldex coupling

Hi All
Just noticed that none of the Audi services pages they have performed a Haldex coupling oil change. Is this needed on a RS4 B7 (2006) models?

Service book indicates its needed for A3 Quattro and Millage 40,000).

My TT had this done at 40K miles.

Cheers

Rick_RS4 wrote:same thing has happened to mine i think its speed bumps, the problem about fixing them is the size of the standard audi pipe, you might have to get a piece stepped up to 2.5'' for the flexi, then back down to the catback

Is this any good to fix ?

Spot on !

Plus wee bit from the oil cooler pipes, quick tip if the front grill left bottom if you find two pipes black colour then may be 0.02% leakage as well :) they should be nice silver colour as new!

This is what Autoglass replace with... Very standard quality is ok but not as strong as OEM.

If you do it, get it done at their workshop as doing it by the road side isn't great ....

Thanks for all the posts, actually first leg is 70mph on the motorway for 20 miles and engine temperature at 93 to 96c and then London traffic, specially North circular stop start then it goes up to 108 by the time I reach home. Re: Hot days RNSE gives up reading Nav Disc

Really sounds like the laser head to be at fault, I know the CD changer ones can be problematic but didn't realise the RNS-e ones were weak as well. This only done twice now since having the car, and for the first post date it's not down the error reading yet. Could be that since the car is almost ...

Oil temperature (sorry another quick thread)

I know plenty of threads on oil temperature, just wanted to check, on local driving with lot of traffic with average start stop and 15 mph with lot of stationary traffic for about 30 mins does the oil temperature on the dash goes to between 105 and 110 c ? Outside temperature is around 20 c ?
