Re: Exhaust options.
The guys I got the exhaust from asked if I could do a little video for them so thought I would share here. The one thing I have noticed with the Akra is the tone inside is quite different to outside the car. Inside quite smooth, high pitch. Noticeably louder but not intrusive at all - I have actual...

Re: Exhaust options.
Same here - had a Milltek before, and didn't think much of the quality. Took it off pretty quickly. RS6 one might well be better now, but the Akra is a proper piece of kit - whether it's just acoustic kit or not. Marginal cost difference is <£3k over a Milktek, so 3-4% of the cost of the car to get ...

Re: Grigio Telesto
I had my caterham painted in Grigio telesto after seeing it on the press demo Chris Harris rags around on you tube. It changes hugely depending on the light but never gets as light as Nardo grey. It's also a metallic colour but to be white honest it's never looked anything other than a kind of wet-...

Re: Grigio Telesto
that last image is not representative of Grigio Telesto, which is much darker than Nardo...trust me! If my GT Gallardo wasn't at dealer for sale, I could give you a side by side shot...

Thanks very much. I'll give them a call in the next day or two. Any clues on the cost...?

Re: Litchfield Stage 1 Tune
Yes it can be fitted anywhere I think. You have to provide some specific information from your vehicle which gets sent to ABT in Germany. They then programme the box and send it out to the dealer but I'm sure they could help you remotely set it up. Richter are the uk agents. I'm speaking to them la...

Re: Litchfield Stage 1 Tune
Andy - is the ABT a plug and play piece of kit that can be fitted anywhere? It's not easy for me to get to MRC or similar. No doubt some will say that get custom map is better (and it might be), but ABT has been working with Audis for a long time and I'm sure will be good quality. Is the UK covered ...

Re: What the hell...
Yes, but I'm not sure if the RS6 is even the fuel (I don't know - maybe it is), but seems like it's just programmed to do it It pops/crackles exactly the same amount each time, and at the same point of throttle lift-off - seems more like a trigger than a reaction. 'Real' excess fuel burning would va...

Re: What the hell...
Saw this a few weeks ago on IG, crazy if its hitting the numbers, unsure on legalities lol. hear how when not connected to the OE exhaust system the sound it makes, seems lights the cracks and pops on most new performance cars are fake. yep - pops and bangs on overrun/gearchanges are all programmed...

Re: Boot flap
Installed BootBuddy kit today in the new RS6. Specifically designed for A6/S6/RS6. Hard gloss back, floor and side liners with a non slip mat and bumper guard. Highly recommended. Great quality. http://i496.photobucket.com/albums/rr330/blackroot99/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpswmeibbee.jpeg Does that b...

Re: HRE P101 forged
As I've said before, you were very helpful with my Akra exhaust order, and honest enough to pass it on to a more local supplier.
I cant find contact details, sorry, but can you PM me prices for P101s in 9.5x20 and 12.5x21 brushed/clear
Thanks

Yes, FL, but still 'coloured' whereas the one I saw was much darker. I'll have a look at vids, thanks

Smoked rear light cluster
Never thought I'd like these, but I saw a C7 with smoked rear light cluster at the weekend, and it looked surprisingly good.
I have a debadged Nardo with black optics, so thinking about finishing it off.
Can't find any links online - does anyone know where to get then? Thanks

Re: Exhaust options.
It does, yes, but even when driving on my own, it's too contrived for my liking.
I'd like the response of sport/manual, and full exhaust noise, without the popping and banging. Too formulaic and contrived, IMO. exact same sounds every time you lift past a certain point on throttle.
