You could ask Audi to carry out an end of warrenty check over, they'll probably charge an hour at the most and they'll be able to quote you for an extended warrenty. There's little point in an independant garage carrying out the checks because they'll have to charge you for any work that could be co...

But a future buyer might find it and be put off? Wouldn't this potentially affect the value of the car against a similar one which has an unaffected tray, or one which only needed the 'lighter' repair and looks good? I wouldn't worry about it UNI555, i think a potential owner would be far happier i...

RE: Re: RE: How long to carry out battery tray recall ?

The recall is actually split into 3 groups depending on the severity of the damage to the battery tray. I've now carried out 2 of these recalls. The 1st is if the battery tray has no cracks - it's repaired just using the special adhesive to prevent any damage. The 2nd is if there are minor cracks - ...

Gents, you'll find the new Audi service scheme which was revised resently says the *first* brake fluid service is done after 3 years then every 2 years after that. The new service scheme mainly affects the model year 8 onward A3s and TTs so far. On these cars there are 2 service lights to reset now ...

RE: Exploding brake reservoir

On the B5s, the brake fluid reservoir bottles always pop! Even with the VAG kit they still burst. I've got to do a brake fluid service on mine and by the look of it, the brake fluid hasn't been changed for a LONG time. I've already bought a new bottle

NEW (B6 S4) 4.2 V8 Throttle body

Hello, This is a throttle body for a B6 S4 but it does fit many other vehicles fitted with the 4.2 V8 engine. It's brand spanking new and retails at about £800!! I'd be happy with £200 but i'm open to offers. I haven't got a picture of it but if you're seriously interested, i'll get a snap for you. ...
