Re: AUDI RS2 Vs NISSAN SKYLINE GTR
MTM Red. Ex Ray Barker. 70Km. ORB 1 plates. Used as daily driver. Fully sorted (lots of money recently spent) and good for another 30K without any major outlay. ASdd to that - its basically depreciation proof and no one will steal or coin it as they have no idea what it is (only 12 in NZ vs 23 x RS4...

Re: AUDI RS2 Vs NISSAN SKYLINE GTR
Hi Kiwi MTM, The Black car at Contis sold for $72K after 10 days on the yard. It was not advertised. This was an ex enthusiasts car. The other balck car at the Toyshop may have a chequered history...you hear various stories out there! The RS4's will drop - but maybe not till the end of the year. Don...

Re: Brake Upgrade Price
Hi Kiwi MTM, I will try Trade parts. Thanks for the tip - hard to find some of the more specialised parts for the RS2. I have a couple of 911's which use similar brake hardware (my RS has 322mm discs similar to the RS2 upgrade) and it seems difficult to find any decent aftermarket gear for these car...

Re: Brake Upgrade Price
Great to have another Kiwi on board. Would love an RS4 - however my "german girlfriends" keep me poor, so Im afraid I cant afford one! In truth though Im a bit of an "porsche" fanatic and that is what drew me to the car - along with its rarity, performance and residuals (in that order!). However tim...

Brake Upgrade Price
Hi there, I am based in NZ but interested in potentially purchasing the 993TT brake upgrade kit. Im currently in need of front and rear discs and pads, and my calipers are peeling so I was wondering if this would be a reasonable cost upgrade. No hope of getting these parts in NZ at a reasonable pric...

Re: 225 vs 245 tyre width
Jeremy, You are a star! Pretty hard to find info in NZ. Infact with 8 cars in a country almost as large as the UK (size not pop) - its pretty hard to find another RS2 owner! I have two further questions for you: A). How do I access the discussion board on Yahoo? B). Do you for example know of any 22...

225 vs 245 tyre width
Hi There, Has someone tried 225 width tyres. I have read somewhere they give more predictable handling. I need to replace my 245's soon and feel that they sit too "square" on the road - especially on 7J rims!. I know "Porsche knows better than I", but after owning some more modern high performance w...

Brake Accuator - warning light
Hi There My brake warning light lights up and beeps when I start the car up cold and leave it to idle a few minutes in the morning. I have been led to believe this may be the "acctuator". Im not to sure what that part does. Please could someone give me their thoughts on this - especially if you have...

Re: RHD RS2 Register
Hi There, Around 8 RS2's came to New Zealand in 1995. I believe these were 1996 MY. I have one of them - Laser Red, factory standard with 46,000 miles. Our cars were different from Europe/UK in that they dont have the front guard side repeaters and had the cats removed (i.e. "dirty"). This was so th...
