RE: SUPER CHIPPING

I had the Superchip file in my 2002 BAM S3. Wouldn't recommend it TBH. Slows the sensitivity of the throttle by adjusting the ratio between the potentiometers on the pedal and throttle body, hence giving it the appearance of being laggier than standard. Not what you want. It then comes on boost quit...

Drive an S3 at the moment. Averaging about 28mpg. If I potter about 32mpg. Can't really afford another car to use. Already two in the family.

I've had mine for a litle over a year and 20k miles (now on 67k) and I haven't had any more issues than with any other car I've ever had (touch wood) I don't want to jinx it by saying it's been fine, had the gearbox replaced but that was covered by warrantee (£7k worth of thank god!). So I can't co...

RE: I need to Make sure the RS4 I am buying is in good order

Hi, been looking at this one too. Avus silver one. You say you've spoken to the dealers who have worked on the car and the mileage seems to add up. So, can we conclude that if it has been clocked, its not by anything substantial ? It is my opinion that a lot of the niche Audis have had "haircuts" at...

I've seen some of the stuff he's done. TBH nothing any half decent engineering shop couldn't do.

With regards to the ESP light. Has the steering wheel been off ? If so it could be the steering wheel isn't on straight in relation to the steering angle sensor. Heard of this before.

RE: Tidy S3

Hi mate, they don't look like genuine Porsche rims to me. Think they are the Mille Miglia replica wheels. Porsche rims will go on yours with adapters ( 5/100 to 5/130 ). Some replicas of the hollow spoke 996 turbo look 2 about now too.

RE: Tyre Pressures 235/35/19

Thanks for the info guys. The 18s used to run 36psi. I called Dunlop and they would not commit to even giving me a guide pressure. Spoke to Kim @ QST , he says he uses 36psi all round with 19s on an S3. Think I'll probably try either 36 or 38 as john says. I bought the wheels from Elite, and a phone...

Tyre Pressures 235/35/19

Hi all, put 8x19" on my S3 to replace 8.5x18". Gone from pzero nero on the 18s to sp sport9000. Dunlops are 235/35/19. What pressures should be in these. The reason I'm asking is the car now feels very unstable at high speed. Only since I've changed the wheels. There's currently 45psi in them (hot)....
