Re: Advise on buying a ttrs
You don't need to complain to Audi uk to get the brakes changed, just go to your local Audi, they need to look at the car & confirm the squealing brakes, they complete a report then get the brakes. Mine were sorted with minimum hassle. I've got buckets, Nav, Bluetooth, parking sensors, folding mirro...

Re: Cheshire Oaks Audi & Audi UK
Good news about Cheshire oaks Audi, they are soon to become my local Audi dealer!
I actually bought my B7 RS4 from them, they were pretty good.

Re: RS4 B8 vs TTRS
Had a motorway blast with a B8 RS4 today....they aren't that quick. Had no issues keeping up in my boggo standard TTRS....don't believe the hype and remember there is nothing, nothing better than a B7 RS4 ;) Changing my car in December....the RS4 was pegged as the natural choice but as it doesn't l...

Re: Picking up the RS (Video content)
p.s. coming from an R32, i'll tell you there is replacement for displacement - a turbo ;) There is no replacement for displacement, 'tis a simple rule and it works like this; I have a 4.2L and you have a 2.5L... with a turbo on it. But I can always put a turbo on, too. Just like the next guy with a...

Re: TTRS ownership - 3 months in...
i've had the TT RS nearly 18 months now, having had the RS4 for just under 3 years. I loved my RS4, it was a terrific car, but they are completely different. using your criteria here are my opinions... appearance everyone has their own opinion, the RS4 is a good looking saloon car. I prefer the look...

Re: A happy new TTRS owner
well done Sevy. I made the same change you did 12 months ago and have not been disappointed one bit. i went for one with black recaro bucket seats, RNSE Nav, Bluetooth etc. I bought a couple of after market OSIR carbon fibre interior parts from the TT shop (centre console surround and glovebox) and ...

Re: Monkey Slags it off :)
should have compared with same tyres on both cars. Think the beemer had pilot super sports fitted from what he said which are probably a lot better than continentals. still, impressive performance for the new 135i. what they should do next is put the 153i up against the 40k BMW 1M and see if they th...

Re: Milltek cat bypass fitted
any problems with warranty with this fitted?
Preston audi weren't happy to work on mine with this fitted / do warranty work
did sound a lot better though, they even commented about that in the service department!!

Re: Replacement Trim

are you crazy, the carbon looks fantastic! I think all the parts cost about £700 IIRC. I used to have aluminium trim in my RS4 and always wanted the carbon.
am sure you could buy the aluminium bits for a reasonable price, but I wouldnt bother.

Re: Hamilton leaves Mclaren for Mercedes.
Mclaren are great at making a competitive car, and then not capitalising on it with a WDC or WCC, they should have had one in 2007 (with either alonso or hamilton) and again this year as their car is probably overall the quickest. they have a poor tally of WDC, they just aren't good at winning champ...

Re: BMW 1M
I saw a black 1m near me and thought it looked good.
Not a fan of the dark orange metallic colour. There are a few angles where the front of the 1m looks a bit awkward but overall it looks good.
I saw an RS3 the other day and it looked better and more aggressive than expected, so both look good!!

Re: Bye bye B7
Well after nearly 3 years of ownership the rs4 has gone, gonna really miss that miltek growl (neighbours probably aren't!). It's been replaced with a TTRS (cue hairdresser quips). Have got this booked I with the top blokes at Revolution for a stage two remap, miltek, fmic and air filter which should...
