Apikol has a set that's not quite as big as the Wagners, but way bigger than stock. You have to trade in your old ones for cores - they use the end caps and stuff fatter cores in between them. About the same net cost as OEM for more performance/better cooling.

What about the failure rate of those who have had the ATF changed vs not had it changed. Any correlation there? I'm still in the sceptical corner regarding failures occurring after the change either because it wasn't done properly or the fluid was never quite as high as it was originally. Roughly 2...

Still running roughly 2:1 in favor of never failed, also (depending on how you slice cars that have been tuned part way through) roughly half of each group are standard vs. tuned. Unsophisticated logic says tuning isn't what leads to failure.

headshot over on rs6 international has an excellent sticky for installing some nice looking vents similar in style to the SL 65 AMG vents. http://www2.rs6.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17474 Re: Headshot's front splitter. Interesting, I realize it's not completely scientific but it's held pretty steady throughout at 2:1, unfailed to failed

Cool. WOuld be useful if you could post the 1, 2 & 3 groups for a direct comparison with previous value. Not sure I understand your request. Are you wanting the raw data or log blocks 1, 2 and 3? I didn't log the exact same items in the before and after and I'm logging individual items using Adv. M...

Well now you're just daring me to go off on one my geeky and exhausting explanations. Weekend's coming, I might have time to do a lengthier dissertation then.

Before and after logs

Replaced MAF's, top seals and N75 today. Before and after logs seem to indicate the variation between banks has narrowed considerably. They are also indicating higher readings by about 5% (used the average of all runs before and after, taking the MAF divided by RPM while under full boost). Butt dyno...

Over here they're about $225 each for new, $160 for reman.

Bottom seals for me were $60 ea, so a little more than 25 quid., I passed.

With shipping, I would guess everything's a bit less over there.

I bit the bullet and have just had my MAFs replaced and the seals changed - I thought they were just o rings but the lower seal to the mafs is actually a mount so cost me about 25 quid each! It feels a bit swifter but will do some logs soon for a back to back comparison - old vs new!! I also had th...

Interesting. The Lambda goes to zero at or near WOT as it goes into "open loop" mode. Not sure why, maybe a function of processing capacity and/or at WOT who cares if you're efficient or polluting. Even though I already knew this, I failed to make the small logical leap to the fact that then you're ...

Relooked at the data, did not in fact strip out part throttle data, but pretty easy to see where Load% goes to 100 or so. Paul, correct it does not log all data at the exact same time, but if you look at the raw data, reading across the columns, each you time you hit a "Time Stamp" column, everythin...

The following is a plot of RS6-4dr911 (top) and my logs (bottom). I'm not sure how useful it is to compare them unless the condition under which they were taken are comparable. RS6-4dr911, are these from a power run from idle? Mine are not necessarily from a power run which may explain the differen...

Don't just tease us, explain. Fine, I've got logs, both banks, multiple runs, the entire rpm range, other variables logged along with them, I'm ready to start. Now what? The sum of your comments lead me to wonder if you really know how to determine if their bad or not. If you do, spill the beans. If...
