Re: FIS Tyre Pressure - TPMS + CU65

I’m not sure that the TPMS is on the L line.

Can’t you connect with the vagcom? Has it been coded out?

Have you tested your system to see if it works? Let a tyre down to test.

Re: N80 valve

It’s just a solenoid valve IIRC. If you want to test it you can use the output tests with the vagcom.

Re: FIS Control

Log your requested boost in group 114 when you go WOT and you will see what the max requested boost is.

Re: FIS Control

You'd subtract the atmospheric from the boost pressure to get the amount of boost.

Re: FIS Control

The RS6 doesn't have a MAP sensor. It has a boost pressure sensor. The 2 terms are sometimes used interchangeably, incorrectly. The only information about the pressure in the manifold comes from the boost pressure sensor. The ECU has a built-in atmospheric pressure sensor and it uses this to adjust ...

Re: dashboard scuff repair... heatgun+CarPro Perl (waterbased silicon oxide)

Yeah, you'd need a paint stripper, but you'd have to be really careful. I can see why it might work. Small scratches are probably quite "hairy" up close which reflects the light. The heat gun would make them shrivel and make them less visible. The cleaning product has a similar effect, making them l...

Re: Avant Rear Wiper Motor Leaking

I seem to remember footlong getting one from ECP which parked on the wrong side. Handy for those who have upgraded the rear wipers though which look better parked on the wrong side.

Re: Rear Drivers Window

No, not common. Try holding the up button for 10 seconds then the down button for 10 seconds. If that doesn't do anything then, try down for 10 and up for 10. Try all the combos. If that doesn't do it then it could be the wiring. The regulators on these go quite frequently. Might be fouled inside st...

Re: Condenser part number

Autodoc are bloody annoying for that. Had the same with a starter motor for the M3 recently. This one looks like what you posted: https://www.autodoc.co.uk/aks-dasis/7647869#air-conditioning-condenser Or Audi tradition have them: https://shops.audi.com/en_GB/web/tradition/p/condenser-4b3260403h-10

Re: Fitted new TPMS - TX-S001 Direct Fit TPMS Sensor

If the TPMS isn't working for whatever reason, and it isn't coded out, then you will get a nag warning on the dash every time you start.

Have a look through the DIS menu to see if there's anything TPMS related in there. If it's coded out there shouldn't be.
