RE: Re: Selling the RS6 need an idea of prices

Thanks for that guys, looks like I'll try £15k as it could do with discs and pads in another 3-5k. I think it will go as it is a real head turner and I'm not in a great hurry to sell, so will not take the first offer. With regards test driving what do you suggest about letting potentials drive - ins...

[quote="RS6_Dave"]Did you get the work done at an Audi Dealer and therefore it carries warranty on new box etc?

If so, IThe gearbox work was done by an Audi Approved and carries a 12 month warranty, as does the turbos and oil cooler.

Selling the RS6 need an idea of prices

I have owned my RS6 now for 3 years and have had the best motoring ever. Unfortunately I have now have to sell due to work commitments and am looking for an idea of what I should sell for. Brief description: 2003 (52) Avant Misano red 91,000 miles. Carbon interior including half leather carbon seats...

RE: Warranty issues

Thanks for that I will definitely email your man and see what he says; you are right about the policy (apart from the reminder cards - mabe a later addition as they have changed insurers in the last 2 years). My other half works in commercial insurance and as it is not perfectly clear (in my hand bo...

[quote="480bhp"]Problem with cars like these, is everyone likes to think they480bhp - you are quite right, I have now had all the work imaginable on my RS6; including DRC replaced with KW3s and I am looking to sell; however when you look to price, there are cars that are sub £10k and others touching...

RE: Warranty issues

Since I have had the car I have enjoyed driving more than I have ever done before, however I do a lot of company miles and the mileage allowance barely covers the cost of the fuel; and it certainly doesn't cover the wear and tear. I'm going to enjoy it for another month, put some new tyres on it and...

Warranty issues

The guy I spoke to had it off-pat he new the page number, paragraph and line that the book mentions the annual renewal. They all know that everybody puts it away and only gets it out when something goes wrong. A similar thing happened before I had the suspension done, the DRC went and they sent an i...

Warranty Issues

I have just had a major kick in the wallet - a gearbox rebuild and while it was apart the garage found an issue with the intercooler; not a great deal of change from £5k. The main reason for my post is to warn drivers about third party warranties. My warranty was with Motorcare and was a lifetime (a...

You can buy the kit direct - see the KW website. Probably easier to contact the guys at Sportstech though. Don't forget to get the wheels properly aligned though as I've worn through 2 sets of rear tyres (incorrect camber setting).

I have an early 2003 (on a 52 plate), Misano Red Avant with 61k mileage - 17k have been done in the last 12 months on the motorway. Just had it serviced / MOT / and taxed (12 months). Just had 4 new tyres and have had the dreaded DRC replaced with KWs. Also had new discs and pads on the fron. It is ...

RE: Anyone know

Yes, it's a lovely car; the registration however was ONB 1.
