Cheers from America guys! A friend of mine from New Jersey and I will be touring Italy, Germany and Spain from 8/2 to 8/23, and we are planning on being in Nurburg on 8/15-16. Any chance anyone was planning on doing this then? Can't ship my RS over, so riding with one of you would be fantastic! - Adam

RE: H&R Spring Ride Height problem and Spacers
Just sent the pictures to H&R, confirmed that they are the wrong springs. When it does rub, it is definitely rubbing on the clip you mention. The LF one is gummy, the right one is clean. I can even see the mark aroudn the tire where it scrapes. Yes it happens that often, and going straight! John at ...

RE: H&R Spring Ride Height problem and Spacers
Hey Arthur! I am in the Lehigh Valley, so opposite end. The dealer I went to was in New Jersey anyway. Another Update! I jacked the car up, took plenty of pictures to go up tomorrow, but I DO NOT have the white marks on the springs. Which means that to my knowledge from H&R, I have the wrong springs...

RE: H&R Spring Ride Height problem and Spacers
UPDATE: I just spoke with Jon at H&R USA again and he had me check if my springs hada white "paintbrush" mark near the part number, and with th ecar on the ground I don't see it. He says that if thats the case, then the springs arent right. Even though the parts numbers are right, he says that if th...

RE: H&R Spring Ride Height problem and Spacers
Thanks Jim, I've been checking you car out a lot. I assume that since the dealer put everything back together, what I am dealing with is purely a cosmetic problem, especially if H&R was ok with selling it. But I'm still not happy. People have been pointing it out without me even telling them about t...

H&R Spring Ride Height problem and Spacers
Hey all, I've been sneaking around here for about 6 months, bought my RS in December from dealer auction for $45,000 with 15,000 miles - with H&R springs and ARB's installed from the previous owner. Since the beginning I noticed that my front rides higher than the back, and also that the front left ...

RE: Sport mode
Question: I always thought that the S button opened the exhaust flaps 'all the time'. Is it true that it only opens them at idle, and only 'sometimes' at higher revs? If so, wouldn't a permanent flap-defeat keep the flap open all the time?
