Hi, After 2.5 years of happy ownership, I've decided to sell my genuine 1994 Alpina B2.5 - number L0001. I'm actually in no desperate rush to sell it, but have had a slight windfall, so am going to upgrade to something a bit newer. I bought it at around 90,000 miles and it has now done 94,000 miles....

Nice one - cheers. I had already had a quick look at that (but many months ago!), its a cracking guide actually. So, in terms of what to check, as a most likely to fail / most costly to fix I'm going with: 1. DRC (DRC fixed with H+R coilovers on this one) 2. Gearbox 3. Cam belt (needs done soon) 4. ...

How do I check if the gearbox is OK? Anything in particular I can do in the test drive?

The disks look reasonably worn, too. Min thickness is 32mm IIRC. It'll be stamped on the bell. Sorry, what does that mean? I'm not sure how to say it any other way.
