Not owned from new, nut there are no signs of respray anywhere. Warranty expires on tuesday, so I'll just send it in - see what happens.

Warranty on bodywork?

It looks as if my rear bumper is slightly pround in the centre where it meets the bootlid edge and they have been rubbing each other slightly. My concern is that it will eventually rub the paint off the edge of the bootlid and then start to corrode. Is the dealer going to try the ususal wriggle out ...

the audi extended warranty is provided by Mondial. Its the same warranty that is provided in year 3 of ownership . A M3 CSL, with the most fragile of the BMW engines The iron block S54 straight 6 in the M3 is probably one of BMW's strongest engines. The basic design has been used since the mid 80's...

RE: Re: anyone catch the F1 race today??

Possibly some of the dullest motorsport I have ever watched - won't be watching anymore unless it's a wet race. It was basically an exercise in tyre managment and fuel conservation - dull dull dull. When is the BTCC on?

I have just got an ipod nano and was wondering how the hell I can run it through the car. It doesn't have a lead in the glovebox (as some do) - my car has the "standard" RS4 system with a 6 autochanger in the glovebox. Any advice welcome...please keep it simple though - I can build most things, but ...

Do the maintainance plans not have get out clause for a maximum number of tyres ,pads and discs during a specific period? If not, you could techincally "wear out" a set of tyres every month and still get them replaced for "free"?

Interesting read this one - considering the way you seem to drive to and from work each day surely you will still get through fuel tryes and brakes in a similar fashion. I know that the Golf parts will be cheaper, but you have to consider the depreciation curve of both cars. The RS4 has done the wor...

Tesco 99 has done very well in independant tests with some of the racing fraternity - the difference between all the high octance brands is marginal at best.

RE: Anyone on here currently competing in motor sport ?

Mk 2 Golf Championship with the 750mc. Some of the closest tin -top racing I've done in the past 12 years, and very good value for money, I love it.

replacement front brake pads

Anyone know where to buy replacement front pads at sensible money, don't really fancy being raped by the dealer for what is basically 2 sets of normal sized brake pads.
Thanks in advance

Sat Nav postcodes?

Surely in this day and age, the Sat Nav would have an update available for full postcodes? It really is the one thing on the car car that annoys me - a lot. If a £150 Tomtom can do it, surely Audi can sort it out? Anyone looked into this. Apologies if it;s been asked a zillion times before

Just wait till you try blipping the throttle on downshifts - it don't like that either!
