I've taken the advice on this forum and I'm changing oil more often than that (hence the visit to APS), but for the rest of the servicing I'm following the variable service schedule.
I guess I'll have to go and visit Audi with my tail between my legs.

Hi all, Had my oil changed by APS and they reset my service indicator after an oil change and general once over. My fault because I didn't make it clear that I didn't want them to. Brasso metal polish works for me. I'm not sure if that's the correct stuff to use or not. It takes a bit of elbow grease. I wipe the residue off with a soft cloth. I haven't noticed any adverse affects so far.
