Another question, is it reasonable for them to charge £144 quid to figure out the problem? Would you expect to pay that on top of the regular price?

thats awesome i really appreciate that. i'd just be happy having a loose cable i can plug it into and have the passenger work it, maybe i'll try removing the head unit...am i likely to screw anything else up doing that?? and is it possible to put a splitter on that cable, i wouldnt mind having a DVD...

they didnt tell me the hourly rate (in fairness i havent asked yet), its 6 and a half years old unfortunately...

All this tells me is they are currently ripping me off...I'd they don't have enough biz, then they should just lower their prices (see my "First Service...OMG" thread for the crazy audi dealer quotes...

Hi guys, just bought privately a 2003 RS6 Avant with just under 60,000 miles...some issues I've noticed so far...wondering if anyone can help before I get taken to the cleaners by Audi in London...

1) Sat Nav not picking up GPS…says “31 satellites available, 0 receivedâ€

Right, I've just taken out the warranty with Tesco on-line for £419, haven't spoken to them but I will next week and I'll let you all know if any problems with it...what a bargain if this works I reckon (my car is sitting just under 60,000 miles so just in time!)
