Hi John, I'm still getting to grips with the Cob and I'm taking it easy to start with, hence my interest in a track session or two so that I can get to know its limits in relative safety. Spa sounds great, but in October, it is also likely to be rather damp, which isn't perhaps the best conditions i...

Remember me ?
Hi Guys, It's been a fair while since I was last here. Since I sold my RS4, I've been out of the loop on Audis and I now drive a Range Rover Sport TDV8, which has been breathed on by JE Engineering. However, I also have a new toy (see below) and I was wondering whether I could possibly come along to...

The RS4 was a more driver focused car and while the RS6 was very quick, it almost didn't need the driver as it did everything itself. Whilst the power was great fun to start off with, I wanted something more to sustain a longer term relationship. That isn't to say the RS4 was perfect, it wasn't and ...

Adam, You're right "cheeky" would have been better and I'm not offended  Rest assured, we inhabit the same world and I could no more justify this sort of money for a car than the next sane person. However, when the last RS6 came out, I ordered 2, sold one for a small premium and kept the other...

New RS6 ??
Hi,
It's been a very long time since I last called in here, but does anyone know anything about the new RS6 ?
I've just put an order in for one at Listers in Coventry and the only thing I know is that it has a twin-turbo V10 with 580bhp in Avant form and it is due in Q1 '08.
Regards,
Paul

Audi Le Mans gets the go ahead...
I know this isn't the technically right place for this post but I've just read this on teh TopGear site: All go for Audi R8 Audi has announced that it will build its Le Mans Quattro concept car and it will be called the R8, in honour of the company's successful endurance racing car. Work has begun o...

If you still intend to convert an RS4 to LPG, you could do a lot worse than talk to JE Engineering in Coventry. Their reputation is based on high performance conversions on Range Rovers and Land Rovers, but they have a wealth of experience on LPG conversions. JE were responsible for designing the 3....

Doh ! It is a Listers policy, but it is identical to the Audi warranty except that it doesn't provide a courtesy car in the event that your's is off the road. It is a total rebuild on the engine with most moving parts needing replacing. Before sitting in my garage for the last ten years, it spent so...

Hi John, Phil has already answered, but it is Listers in Coventry 024 7667 5675. They will need to inspect the car first, which is chargable at £60, but it is pretty thorough and you do get a written report, which is quite handy. Re. the Cobra project, I'm still working on it, but it is looking quit...
