The coil packs are the same for 2004 and 2005. If you search on EuroCarParts for S4 4.2 and try different searches for 2004, 2005, 2006, etc, the part number is always 413440540. Bear in mind this is a EuroCarParts part number, not an Audi part number, hence maybe why you have a different number for...

I think you're right. Looking more closely at the engine bay, I can't see anyway of getting to the torx screw that holds the ignition loom in place at the rear offside (by cylinders 3 & 4) without getting the airbox out the way :cry: Anybody got any good tips, or is it easiest just to remove the air...

Spark plugs were done at the last service a few weeks ago, so they are fine. Any advice on the offside bank?
