RE: Pop up headlight washer cap
i think it can be done by someone operating the washer swuitch while someone else grabs the required one as it pops up and holds it to stop it retracting. that is what I saw audi main dealer do on an A4 I has a few years back anyway.

RE: Oil Cooler Return Line Leaking - Options?
I did both on my RS4 as a precaution as the pipes looked old and worn, the parts where expensive but I did the work myself on a friends ramp and it was quite easy really. I left the oil cooler in place but took the bumper off. The main problem you will encounter is that there is a very high chance t...

Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: Police RS4 in Reading
Guys you are missing the point. I know for a fact that some manufactuers GIVE cars to the police to test, as they do unberliverbl milage and cover all aspects of driveing daily ! Thats where some of the call backs come from and where else would landrover be able to get a car on real time test 24hur...

The police up here in Hull are running a scooby for day to day chases and a Lexus is-f for Sunday best! I have seen that lexus it looks awesome! But quite why the Police need a £55K luxuary performance car is beyond me cant they make do with a tuned up Impreza?! The fact they also use £60 Range Rov...

Re: RE: Re: RE: Flat bottom steering wheel and Multi functio
airbag wiring is explained here . I was looking at a mk5 wheel just because they seem to be cheaper than the mk4 one But given what people have said I guess I'm back to looking for the mk4 wheel. Btw i think the above info should work for a mk6 golf wheel and I don't think either of them have a 2 s...

I must say I was less then impressed with the RS4 in the snow, with or with out ESP on. I think the 4x4 gave ok traction but not that good and the ABS had a complete fit! I dont think the fat 255 tyres help. Not sure what the diff set up is on the RS4 but it does not seem like it has LSD,s. Imprezz...

RE: Re: RE: Flat bottom steering wheel and Multi function co
Just out of interest why wont the Mk5 r32 fit when the R32 Mk does? Is it to do with two stage air bags on MK5? Anyway back to my original question re the multifuction buttons on the steering wheel and the ability of the Navigation plus unit on my B5RS4 to support this function. I remember nkow that...

Hi, I habve seen a few people have fitted the flat bottom steering wheels off from the B7 and new shape TT S etc. I fnacy doing this myself. I understand the horn and air bags are fairly easy to wire in but does any one know if the standard B5 sat nav plus readio can be wired into the multi function...

I have new OEM shockers and spings on mine with full poly bushes and HR anti roll bars and I am very happy with the ride quality and handling. Labour cost me £250 ish for fitting all of the above but was done at mates rated but I suspect he would normally have charged £400. It does take a long time ...
