Hi Ross,

Ally here from KH with the Radical SR3 (now replaced by Noble M400).

Good choice on the RS6 - had my black saloon since Nov last year and very happy with it. 8)

I hope it has a different steering rack to the new A6 I recently drove. Awful. A sneeze would have moved the wheel at low speed.

Is there a seperate instruction manual for the Sat Nav?

I didn't get one but managed to get it working a few months back (not something I need to use often) but last week it drove me nuts trying to get it to take a postcode so reverted back to the old fashioned method I understand - a map.

Thanks for the info, think I'll just keep it standard for the time being.

If anyone looking for a Milltek, here's a little used one for sale:

Milltek exhausts

Worth buying one? Don't want anything too loud as the RS6 is meant to be my sensible car and I'm considering selling but........

Anyone got a before and after soundfile on the cat back Milltek? Any opinions also welcome.

Thanks.

No, not a dumb question at all. The flaps can be used in any mode although it will revert to auto again soon after your manual change. If planning on a few flap changes, best to move lever across gate into manual mode so it doesn't change up when you lift off, etc.

Agreed, the RS6's are great value now. Don't worry about the auto - big saloons/estates are best with them IMO and it's a good one, shifting down when you want like slowing for roundabouts. I normally just leave it in Drive as Sport holds onto the gears longer than necessary unless you are in a hurr...

Rupert, if you're still looking, I'm considering selling my black RS6 saloon and buying a Noble M400...... Probably not a very sensible idea though. Nov 2003. 14,500 miles. Test drive went well and collecting tomorrow. When I saw the black, suede steering wheel, I knew it'd be diffcult to resist. :rocker:

Black saloon, reg'd 10/03 with 9k miles.
