Re: Wanted: one B7 RS4 19" wheel
Hi Stu, Ive still got a an OEM19" alloy sitting in the garage that I'd be happy to sell - I forgot all about it when I sold my B7 RS4 in 2012! I won't fit my C63 Wagon (!) and a friend on here just directed me to your post... I had it as a spare for longer journeys for peace of mind and as far as I ...

Re: Farewell for now...
Blimey, that seems cheap then (considering Fontain would prob have screwed you on the sale price, too). I'd really like to get a LR Defender (it's a mid-life crisis thing). Is the Defender reliability as bad as the Discovery ? Timster, I got a price from Rob at Fontain that I was happy with (and th...

Re: Farewell for now...
Ian - hello mate, how are you? Yes I put up with the SS+ but still think it's too harsh for most of the UK roads....other than that a fabulous car! Timster - yes, that's right. It was originally imported from a German dealer, full UK spec hence the 2008 reg. I bought it in 2010 with 20K on the clock...

Farewell for now...
After 2.5 years and 36K miles I handed over the keys to the RS4 on Friday...... It's probably the best all round car I've had so far and it will be sorely missed but I normally get itchy feet after 12 months so this has been a record length of ownership for me! Picked up a new Disco 4 HSE (black, pr...

Re: Has anyone ordered one...?
Well, I collected my RS4 from Rob at Camberley this afternoon after driving around in a 2011 B8 S4 saloon for 2 weeks and, whilst I still grinned when I started the old girl up (the S4 sounds pretty pants tbh), it immediately felt it's age after the S4....It was an enjoyable drive back home but ther...

Re: Has anyone ordered one...?
Well, after leaving photos up on the laptop, copies of auto car and EVO left open on the RS4 page around the house (every day) and generally winding up the wife about 'her' new car......she finally snapped this evening and told me to 'just bloody order one if it will shut you up" and "I never have a...

Re: Audi RS4 at Geneva motorshow?
"I am being advised that RS 4 is unlikely to be at Geneva now, which is the reason we announced the car to the world media at midnight last night. But of course I'll keep you updated of any announcements." Just checked the Geneva Motorshow site and the RS4 Avant is listed in the premieres. Heading ...

Re: WINTER TYRES
I will be replacing my tyres soon and as I'm too skint to have summer and winter tyres, I need an all rounder. The many many threads on here seem to suggest that Ultrac Sessantas offer the best combination of price and peformance, but, are they any good in wet winter weather?? I have no intention o...

Re: WINTER TYRES
Fecking hell Jon, you still got your 08? Unlike you to keep a car this long!! :p Hi Ian, Yes......coming up for 18 months which is a v good going for me.... Says a lot about the RS4! Looking at changing in Spring but not sure what to go for. Have toyed with the idea of an RS6 avant but th...

Re: WINTER TYRES
Guys,
Will 275/30/19 Vred Wintracs fit ok if I have the SS+ suspension on my avant?
Just want to check that no rubbing issues etc as obviously fairly tight under the rear arches as it is with the SS+.....?
Granted won't be ideal in terms of snow getting packed under the arches!
Cheers
