Hahaha.
That's true though the RS6 is way too quiet for the muscle it has !

wanted c7 rs6 aftermarket downpipes
Yup... Catless. Indeed wifey didn't approve of the noise. Rest of exhaust is standard sports exhaust.
My other car is 8v RS 3 with sports exhaust. So she doesn't approve of 2 loud cars !!!

Re: wanted c7 rs6 aftermarket downpipes
Hi. I will be selling my custom made 76mm/3" downpipes and mid pipes in the next 2 weeks. I need to get some time to take them of the car.
I had them built and fitted 2 weeks ago. I love them !!! Sadly the boss ( wife ) is not happy, so I'll have to take them out.

Re: Intermittent Misfire
I have a sneaky feeling it has to do with the cyl on demand. The two times mine did it, the car was about to go into 4 cyl mode and I accelerated hard.
I have up rated plugs for the record.
I have no faith that a dealer would find this error.

Intermittent Misfire
Do you have sw on the car or not ?
Mine has done it twice... Also a '16
This is not a unique issue on cars with sw from what I have gathered.

Re: Remapping a C7 RS6 Performance Edition
No need for a trip to a dealer, I just checked on the Audi website. Both cars are 9.3:1 according to that. But I note you have posted pre- and post-FL data, so perhaps we are in violent agreement? I am only saying that the post-FL standard car and PE car are the same. Haha....hmmm. I need to rechec...

Re: Another new RS6 owner :-)
The RS 3 is catalunya red. It has more orange in it. It's stunning. The RS 6 is misano. I love the misano ;) it's my 3rd Audi in the colour. Snap - my wife's is Catalunya red too... I must confess yours looks better in the sun - we don't see that enough up here  They both look awesome! Mike - ...

Re: Remapping a C7 RS6 Performance Edition
Go to an Audi dealer and look up the Piston part number between a pre facelift and post facelift. That will be your answer.

Re: Remapping a C7 RS6 Performance Edition
The c7 and c7.5 are different : C7 RS 6 compression ratio - 10:1 C7.5 RS 6 compression ratio - 9.3:1 C7.5 RS 6 performance compression ratio : 10:1 The Pistons size of the c7.5 is the same as the S8. I'm interested in seeing the results of a mapped RS 6 performance. My guesstimate is 715hp at MRC on...

Pretty simple. 2 x T25 screws. Plate then clips off.
