The supplier of the upgraded brake kit should also be supplying spacers so that the caliper is moved an equal distance away, otherwise when the new larger disk is fitted the caliper will be too far away from the holes it needs to be bolted into.

I have the Reyland kit and they are a superb supplier.

Just a question to bring up an old thread as well. Going from the standard brake disc size (365) I believe to a bigger 380 set up. Is there anything else needed for the upgrade or do the discs just fit straight on? The dust shields at the front might need removing/modification/changing to the dust ...

Sadly my tyre fitter damaged one of my wheels and it’s already been refurbished so can’t be diamond cut again

Basic question - do we only need 2 pads per disc for the front? My Zimmermann front discs are arriving today .

4 pads per caliper for the front, 2pads per caliper at the rear.

All I can say is that if bedding in the Reylands made me feel ill because the stopped so hard then I’m happy. Without hesitation I’ll be buying Reyland and DS2500’s for as long as this car lasts. I am looking at the same set up disc wise to what you have fitted. My only concern with the 380mm front...

The part is actually called a high pressure fuel pump, here are all the part numbers you might need.

Was also told that the size of the callipers may be a problem.

Might be best to source a spare wheel

19” will definitely fit over standard RS4 steel brakes.

The rs4 stud pattern is a pretty generic 5x112 , but it will be the wheel offset that needs to be understood to see if it’s compatible. I’ve never spent any time to understand offsets so I’m afraid I can’t help.

I couldn’t be more happy with the KW V3’s.

They are at the KW recommended setting and ride superbly.

So jealous! Wow that is low even at the highest setting, have they settled yet? Can't wait to hear more on the brakes, my pads are 4 and 3mm so have to be done soon but Discs may give me a few more weeks, thankfully as the sunroof is leaking and Warranty Wise are fighting the claim could be a £2k b...
