The K04/RS6 hybrids are a direct bolt on for the 2.7t. I would talk to Mihnea at MRC about possible power levels with them.

Morpheous- I do have a left hand drive car ;) Also on the TT's, the lastest of the 225TT's have the EGT sensor in the turbine housing. There were two different K04's used on the TT, the K04-20 and K04-23. The K04-23 used in the later model 225TT's has an EGT bung in the side of the turbine housing. ...

the EGT simply measures the temp of the exhaust gas before it enters the turbine housing. It is located in the flange on the exhaust manifold that bolts to the turbine housing on the turbo. Like the others said a failing/failed EGT sensor can cause weird behavior as well as decreased performance. Th...

RE: RS4 Dual mass flywheel conversion to one mass
I've never played around with making the stock dual mass a single mass.....but i know of people who go to the single mass Sachs unit that have very good results without vibration.

RE: What Power to expect
a lot depends on how aggressive your tuning is. Some stage 3 kits (K04's, upgraded fueling, ect) yeild around 420, while others, when teaked can go higher, like upto 500bhp. In my opinion, you should do IC's when you do K04's or even earlier. Also, injectors and MAF would most likely be done at the ...

i doubt that using a modified RS4 chip is going to be the easiest route, only becuase the RS4 has a larger throttle body and different intake cams than the S4.

RE: s4-rs4 heads?
Well, if you do the RS4 heads, then there are some other items you'll have to do. First, will be the intake manifold...which means you'll have to do the RS4 fuel rails, RS4 injectors, RS4 throttle body, RS4 up-pipes from the intercoolers and i'd imagine the RS4 intercoolers as well. With the RS4 hea...

depending on what software you have now, some companies offer a remap that is designed for an upgraded exhaust system. Doing the downpipes and exhaust doesn't mean you'd have to do turbos. It's a lot of work to pull the engine to replace the K03's with K04's. The dp's and catback can all be done pre...

Stevo- The running out of steam over 5500rpm has part to do with the remap and part to do with the turbos....though it all can be traced back to the stock K03's. The tiny compressor wheel of the K03 just can't flow as much air as is needed by a chipped car to continue power all the way to redline. B...
