RE: Fleet Insurance

Admiral have started a "multi-car quote". I have just set up my father in law with it for his 3 vehicles - 996T plus 2 Audis. They quote you for one car then as you add more cars you get discounts each time you add an extra one. You have to phone them as it is not up and running on the web yet. Tel:...

Re: RE: RS4 Insurance

Feck me........... I just paid 1300 to insure my son in a bloody mini........£843 sounds about right for a modified car, as mine is on a fleet policy I have no idea what the actual costs are, but previous quotes in its own rite were all nearly four figures and that was factory standard car............

I've done 14K in 12 months of ownership and no problems at all. Just a service, a new set of tyres and just about to put new front discs on at 54K.

Just back from Devon viewings and the lodge wasn't all it was cracked up to be so no hurry to sell the RS! Lovely drive on Devon A roads. Passed MOT again last week without any problems but does need new front discs/pads (might do AP/movit) Would definately need something bigger like Allroad if we d...

RE: Downgrading from RS4

Thanks for the 'offers' and admit that S4 + mods would be a good economical option - just feels a bit too close for comfort.

Downgrading from RS4

RS4 v Holiday lodge .... or heart v head :? Wife and kids (and my sensible side) want the Devon Holiday lodge which means downgrading from the RS4. But the car's going great and (...kiss of death) it has been the perfect car in the 11 months I've had it. I've just come back from Links at Macclesfiel...

Not a good photo (and filthy car) but its the only one I've got. I think the Thule spirit 780 looks the biz for a roofbox, even the missus said it was the least brick-like that she'd seen - trust me, that's a compliment! Not the biggest box but still holds 380 litres and it looks even smaller. Only ...

Cheers Chaps
Picked up my Thule box yesterday. I was hoping 100mph would be OK for the box and 120mph at a push but don't think 150 will wash with the passengers anyway! Nice to know it can do it.
147kph that's fairly specific - just enough below 150 I guess - do you have contacts???

Hi Martyn, sounds like you need to chop the Espace for a Sprinter so you can literally fit their whole wardrobes in
I reckon if I get a low box I can still go in the standard section on Eurotunnel (1.85m).
Didn't realise they're not water tight  thanks for that.
