High spec B8 RS4 for sale

Hi All, I am just testing the waters for putting my B8 RS4 up for sale. We bought a GR Yaris late last year and need something for my daughter to learn to drive in so the big car is having to go… I say testing the waters because I am thinking of selling the car with some cosmetic damage – it is park...

Hi, I have sent you a personal message. I have a Daytona avant coming up for sale. It has a FASH from Camberley, 50k miles with a sunroof. All the usual spec like buckets and FBSW. I am in Kingston.

Cheers.

Re: Should I make the jump from the B7?

Thanks for the feedback chaps. Looks like I will be going ahead and swapping at some point soon. I have considered an M5 Touring and E63 but the BM gearbox puts me off and I always think Mercs are a bit too middle aged. I think the final decision is made easier by Harry Metcalfe’s summing up followi...

Should I make the jump from the B7?

Hi, For the past 4 years I have been running a B7 RS4 which I still love to bits. However, my kids are getting bigger and my wife’s back isn’t great so we could really do with something bigger without the buckets. A C6 RS6 is the obvious choice but I just wanted to get some views from people who hav...

Re: Skiing in the RS4

Thanks for the info Dsb, just need to persuade the wife and kids now and think about winter tyres. I'm a boarder. It would look pretty cool to just have the board on the roof bars but would need a box on too I guess. I guess the kids will be the deciding factor - I'm old enough to have been a kid st...

Skiing in the RS4

Hi, I am toying with the idea of going skiing with the family in the RS4. We are looking to go to Les Carroz d’araches which is about an hour from Geneva. The main motivator is that we are tied to the Feb half term so EasyJet flights alone will come in at close to £2k. I am a complete novice when it...

Changing Wipers

Hi, I recently bought front and rear bosch wipers but I can't work out how to fit them. The back of the packet shows how quite clearly but does not seem to cater for the RS4 set up where the wiper blades(both front and rear) are covered by a plastic aero cowling type thing. I am probably just being ...

Re: On display at west London audi

I decided to take the tube over from the City to take a look at lunchtime today. I did see the LHD version at Goodwood but it was locked and it was a too crowded. I seemed to be the only punter interested so had a sit in the front and back and had a good look around. I think in the flesh (especially...

Re: Whispbar Aero-X Bars for RS4/A4

They are not quoted as doing so when going through the vehicle selector on the roofbox website. As they go between the roof bars I guess they have to be a pretty exact fit.

Re: Bike rack, spacers and clean !

Hi, Sorry to hijack the thread but if anyone does want some Whispbars for their RS4 I have some going on Ebay. I would be willing to let a forum member have them for £100 cash on collection from Kingston before the auction ends. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Whispbar-S53-Aero-X-Roof-bars-Audi-A4-RS4-/16...

Re: First day... First spot

Yes, re the booking system that is exactly what the wife and I thought. You have to be very organised which grates a bit on holiday. I guess that is why there is wifi everywhere which is a bonus. The roof rack is one of the whispbar aero set ups which is very well designed. Only problem is that beca...
