Re: I did it! One New Owner!

I got the RAC inspection through. Only a few minor items which allowed me to pull the price down a little further. Wear on tyres etc but nothing major. I am now the owner of an 04 S4 Avant in Mint condition. It's only done 30k and has hardly been run in. I'll get pictures up in a few days. Thanks a...

RE: What are your views on this one?

At that price and with 12 months warranty I'd say it's a bargain even with the miles on it, providing it has FASH.

Mine does this but only when on full lock and more so when turning right than left. Fairly sure this is just a trait of the model from the sound of it

Milltek - resonated or non?

Seeing as I'm here, got a quick question. I've seen a few clips with Milltek exhausts (including Scotty's trip up the mountain) and I'm fairly certain Milltek will be the system I replace my stock pipes with. Question is whether to go for the resonated or non resonated set. Resonated have the extra ...

Dans S4 (between wash and polish)

Took these the other day after giving my car a wash but before applying polish (wanted to catch the sun on it for better reflection) http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/6861/tnimgp0966co1.th.jpg http://img242.imageshack.us/img242/9233/tnimgp0963tn4.th.jpg http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/8206/tnimg...

RE: Highway Patrol... What rights do they have

Of course there isn't anything to say that they won't notify the local constabulary should they deem you to be piloting a low flying aircraft rather than drving 'sensibly'

I'm not sure if this is the same for the B5, but my B6 S4 avant didn't have ISOFix and I wanted it. To get mine fitted included some welding work, but I managed to get mine all included in the cost of the car (purchased from dealer)
It's not a big job either way though and shouldnt cost too much

Re: RE: Emmigrated to Aus... but couldnt leave my car behind

Good work fella - must have cost a fortune to get it shipped all that way! Nice pad as well BTW  Was cheaper shipping car, paying duty and getting some stuff tailored to meet AU regs than it was to buy a similar car here (plus hardly anyone has an S4 down here to start with - they cost a FO...

When I bought mine from Docklands Audi, they had the B5 RS4 and the B6 S4 Avant & Saloon. Took all three out for a test. The S's are really nice, don't get my wrong, but the RS set me alight. Sadly between the test and arranging finance 4 hours later, some guy had bought it to ship to Ireland :( I n...
