If anything most of the "crashing" is coming from the rear ! Is that norm or is the fault the front ?

Ok my Rs4 has been a bit crap and noisy on uneven surfaces for some time now and must admit I just put it down to hard sports suspension but having noticed it getting worse (esp when cold) and now the front of the car has started to tramline very badly now and feels very vague on steering even pulli...

Well at just over 6k DIS says I need a service in 2 days or 4000 miles!!!! Mostly all short journeys for me and then over xmas I was driving into work each day as the trains were shafted so the computer seems to have gone a bit weird! Just do some real heavy braking and your silver wheels will soon look like anthracite / titanium. just knocks the silver a couple of shades darker!!

Yes to the first bit - not sure on the second but if you press the "spanner" button on the dash it will tell you when a service is due. I suspect it is due.

Ok simple but annoying to me. Does anyone know how to simply disable the switch that stops me starting the engine without the clutch being pushed in? Sounds silly but I mostly start the car and then let it idle for a few minutes whilst I lock the garage etc and it seems so stupid to have to actuall...
