Re: Instrument cluster button corrosion
Those should be interchangeable with another b6/b7 cluster. Looks like someone has touched them with some corrosive substance. I was unfortunate to do similar in another Audi. On the head unit buttons . Was eating chips and the oily residue caused the buttons I touched to blister and flake off .

Wipe down with ACF50. Not a permanent solution but masks the blemishes.

Re: Rear Wiper fail
If the rear tailgate trim is similar to the the 8v( 2013-16) A3
two torx head screws and then held in with those V shaped spring clips . You can prise it off from one corner and then see where the next one is . IT does fee like it's going to break but a short sharp pull works .

Re: RS6 - North 500 Coast Rally
I did it a few years ago in my Caterham 7 and going again this weekend. If you get the weather it really is a bucket list item. For those thinking about doing the best roads in Scotland I have put a route plan together that captures the best bits of Scotland. It's not the official NC500 route as it...

How old is your battery ? Worth checking that and brake light switch.? These two are known to cause the light to come on .

No dont have to disconnect. But be warned it's very tight but just about doable. Be very careful to not to put any stress on the DRC flexi.

Re: DRC: While you’re in there jobs
Iirc the engine has to be slightly lowered to access the front brake line. I fitted braided lines to mine and the rear hard lines were pretty corroded at the joints to the flexis. There was no way they were coming undone so I cut them off at a straight run and flared both ends and put a joint in sim...

Re: Floor mats
Try Autostyle .I got some for the RS3 and RS4 and they were spot on with the newer style logo and dark grey to match the carpet .Just make sure you give them the size and spacing of the logo as their standard one I find it a bit small.

Re: RS6 - North 500 Coast Rally
I did it 3 yrs ago in June in the B7 RS4 . Went anticlockwise from Aberdeen. Done it over 6 days including drive to and from home . Just shy of £500 in fuel . Be prepared some of the roads have huge potholes.. Scenery is breathtaking though . Stayed in some ' wigwams' ( not those type !) in Wicke. H...
