ARe: 18" wheels

You will need 15 -20 mm spacers for them to sit ( read as look ) right in the arches . Original wheels are ET 20.
They may bolt straight on but will not ' look ' right in those massive arches.

Can you not loosen one of the unions on the abs unit and let the air come out whilst the pressure bleeder is connected ?

Re: Coding central locking

Where you based ? You could ask on here if someone local to you has the lead and willing to code it for you ? I'm not sure if the cheap eBay clone leads are capable of doing it .Failing that it would have to be a garage . Two minute job .I have vagcom .

Re: Fitting coilovers, drop links and lower arms

You won’t regret the move to KWs. I have the Variant 3 on my Avant and they’re amazing - Ride is really nice and resolves undulations and bumps well. the b14 are ok-ride wise and handling/damping finish on them [fronts]after about 8 months [very limited winter use] is absolutely awful tbh i read th...

Re: Subframe alinement

Not sure it's relevant to to the A6 but on the A4 models you can use the wheel brace that comes with the car as the perfect alignment tool .
BTW you need two of them .

Re: RS7 - Rear Calipers name plate Mod

It 'maybe ' OK to bond these on the cars with the electronic park brake as you have to use vagcom to wind the piston back so no requirement of a brake piston windback tool ?

Push plate lugs through holes and draw round it and cut out .Tape template over caliper and you have your positi...

Re: Jon_J build thread

How much did the black optics ( doors and pillar surround ) set you back if you don't mind me asking ? £700 but I got quite a good discount on that. The grill is another £650. I can see why people wrap or paint them. You know me though...OEM!!! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180504/71d51d1a2028...
