what are the RS4 replicas exactly?

My S4 has exactly the same symptons and it has no mods (as far as I'm aware).
It's going into the garage tomorrow so I'll let you know what the problem is on a "standard car".

are you saying that the reduced profile of the tyres will compensate for the increased diameter of the wheels (as otherwise the circumference is directly proportional to the diameter)?

The original RS4 alloys won't fit (they stick out about 1/2" either side of the wheel arches). You need to look for a good set of replicas with PCD 5x112 and offset ET35.
