RE: Re: RE: Flat battery advice

Thanks for your help guys, i also have a C-Tec charger/conditioner for the motorbike - i tried to use that but the battery was too far gone on the car.

Just about to fit the battery - fingers crossed,

Flat battery advice

Hi guys, sorry if this subject has been covered before, just returned from abroad and despite repeatedly telling the wife to keep the battery charged, she has allowed it to go flat - dead as the proverbially doornail. I have purchased a new battery, are there any precautions i should make before ref...

My final bill with Kelly was 2k, but that included all four wheels refurbished and some bodywork repairs after i let my wife loose in the car, plus four tyres, paintwork correction, detailing, a new tyre pressure sensor, a few trim pieces and of course the black optics spray, if i remember rightly t...

Hi Guys, i bought my RS over 12 months ago now and unfortunately i did not consult this web site first and so bought with my heart rather than my head. Saying that i have had no serious problems with my car other than the usual DRC failure. Shortly after purchase it was taken to KDS Keltec for paint...

Spare wheel for MOT????

Does anyone know if you have to have a spare wheel for the 6 to pass an MOT? Obviously with the question mine doesn't have one, although nor did my previous M3 but it did have the spray puncture repair goo, all i have in the 6 is a mini cigarette lighter compressor.

Cheers Guys

Mauritius Blue, apparently an expensive option, the main problem though is that someone in the past has tried to paint a few stonechips with a mugello blue touch-up pen  Luckily they are fairly discreet.

Have to admit i also love the yellow colour

My DRC failed a few weeks ago, initially the car was taken to AMD in order for the complete system to be ripped out and KWs fitted which was to be paid by my warranty company (carcare) Well needless to say my claim for coilovers was knocked back and i was told that they would only repair the two lea...

Well Audi have said that they will fund a full repair, apparently if it fails after the initial 3 year period regardless of if it was replaced a day before expiry then Audi won't pay, but if it fails during extended warranty then all components replaced are covered by the 24 month cover - it's to do...

Ahhhh DRC failure - advice needed please

So as not to bore all your readers with a sad tail of woe that has been written hundreds of times before on this very subject, i will simply summarise; Suspension rock hard and crashes noisily over every bump and lump in the road. When giving it the berries on corners the back of the car skips over ...

Hi Alex, we are trying to plan a meet around the Tonbridge Wells area for Tuesday 17th Feb, Rupert is investigating as he thinks there might be an Audi car club meet that we can gatecrash, i'll keep you posted if you are interested.
