Towbar and options compatibility
Hi all, Current (almost fully loaded, ex-press car) RS4 owner, and previously I put 120k miles onto a gorgeous V10 RS6... and although I've skipped a couple of generations, I'm considering jumping back into the RS6 fold. One of the key reasons I need to change - my RS4 has DRC and therefore I cannot...

Re: Bike carrier
Just to come full circle on this, I've found someone who can fit a towbar to a DRC-equipped RS4, so I'll try going down that route!
£612 fitted, with the necessary CanBus changes to make sure things like rear parking sensors, light bulb checks are right.

Re: Roof Bars / Bike
Haha my next issue. I just realised how heavy the bike is! Its a Giant Stance E+ Pro full suspension electric mountain bike. Damn thing has to be almost 30kg with the battery in. Not sure I can dead lift that onto the roof. Can remove battery, but its still going to be 20kg+

Re: Roof Bars / Bike
Yes, you need the roof rack/bars to then attach the bike holder onto. You are not forced to buy the official Audi ones. There are plenty of independent manufacturers that will offer bars to suit your particular car/model . Check Thule website and EBay. You must remember that however you attach the ...

Roof Bars / Bike
Stupid question, but since I've given up on the towbar options, I'm going to get a roof-mounting solution for a bike. Its a big electric mountain bike, but I can at least get it lighter by removing battery for travel. I want to mount on the roof. So my stupid question is, apart from the bit that nee...

Bike carrier
Looking for an easy way to carry 2 bikes. Don’t really want to hang straight off the boot but one is an ebike so quite heavy to lift onto the roof. And I’m not keen on roof mounted bikes for longer distance either. I love the idea of a towbar hitched rack but don’t have a towbar. Could one be fitted...

In fairness, the majority was dry cardboard, plus a couple of wooden boxes and some bags of clothes. Fortunately no dirty rubbish!Terminator_X wrote: ↑Mon Dec 10, 2018 12:36 pmStraight to hell for a tip run

Re: Questions for those of you with 20s.
Dealer handed mine over with tyres at low PSI. Well, probably about what they should be if they were 19"s. Or if the dealer somehow wanted to make the ride feel better than it was... I needn't have worried. I put the pressures up to the correct amount as per the door panel (42 I think rings a bell!)...

Yep - mine arrived today and look great. So did (finally, I kept forgetting to finalise the order!) by rear bumper guard from RGM. Need to clean the damn car and fit it now!

Re: Cargo net
I love these, but I've put a sodding great thick rubber mat in, so these won't work0xSam wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 9:13 pmGot the cargo net included. Bought 2 of those as well: https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Automotive/A ... B00GPKHXQI
They're great for fixing grocery bags or other items.
