I have a Rover (let the flaming begin :P) But i'm not a member of that website, but am on this, says something doesn't it.. Bang for buck though, my Rover is better than an S4. I paid £550 a year ago for my 96 820 Vitesse, lowered it with koni shocks and gmax springs, it's a nice car reasonably nipp...

When the throttle is shut and mainly on over run, it creates vaccum, which will drag the oil through the valve stem seals to be burnt, hence why diesel's won't have this issue.Just a guess but does sound plausible.. I think the turbo seals are on the way out on my car (not an Audi) because it smokes...
