RE: RS2 on a Classic Insurance Policy

I'll try and dig mine out mate but I'm pretty sure I'm with PH specialist insurance on a classic policy and it doesn't have to be garaged it's limited to either 3K or 5K miles and cost approx £ 280 with breakdown cover

RE: Exhaust Cat Back

Can't comment on the Jetex exhaust but recently had the miltek fitted and so far I'm very impressed with it, sounds nice and not too loud until you get to the higher revs, try Pete at Quattro Corner for these he was the cheapest I could find and is a top bloke. I'm not sure how easy they are to fit ...

RE: Re: poor running

Thanks mate it's been on vag com and no faults & it's had a new MAF about a month ago, we've disconected the N75 and the boost dropped from 1 bar to 0.4 bar, the lad who's helping me with it said it's like the N75 is working but not properly so that's what we're planning to change next as I've heard...

poor running

Can anyone help with this please. I've got an RS2 that's not running too well. It's had a new stainless steel exhaust consisting of a 2.75" supersprint downpipe, flexi pipe, 200 cell sports cat and a 3" miltek cat back that's been modified to be a single pipe. it has a homefry chip in it from the s2...

To be honest my RS2 has been a bit of a money pit but from what I can gather from S2 owners the S2 is the same and this is to be expected and to be honest I don't regret a penny of it  when it's running well I wouldn't swap for anything. I can't comment much on the RS4 other than that they are ...

Yes - the seals at the top and leading edge of the door rely upon a very tight fit. As the door sags that fit becomes loose and the water gets past the seal. Once water has got past this seal then there is nothing to stop it dripping down into the car. On the leading edge the water would tend to to...

Yes loose door seals would be my second suggestion - I have recently had this issue on the rear passenger door. You might need to adjust the passenger door as over time the hinges might have sagged. Thanks mate this could be it as the door has sagged, but would this allow water to get in when it's ...

Have you had a replacement windscreen fitted at some stage - looks like it could be from there. No mate it's the original screen, someone on another forum has mentioned it could be loose door seals or sunroof drains but I've been told the sunroof drains are fine and the door seals look okay to me a...

Just noticed a small amount of water dribbling in to my car from the passenger side of the dashboard , does anyone know where this could be coming from I hope the photo shows where I mean it's dropping into the car where you can see the red paint

Finally changed from 245's to 225's today I can't comment on their performance yet but they look smarter and less balloon-like on the rim, I went for some falken 452's after hearing positive comments on here, just waiting for a new ss exhaust to be fitted (hopefully this week) and then I'll be ready...

How "dangerous" are the 245s I've been running michelin pilot sport 245/40 zr17 for about 2 years with no obvious issues and was advised that they'd be okay until they need changing and then swap to the 225s? There's loads of life left in them so I don't want to swap them for the sake of it but if t...
