meh - the battery on my parents old E class estate lasted about 13/14 years. They've had teh car from new and it was the first breakdown it ever had...

Then again i think the quality of parts was better back then - the replacement died in abotu 3 years...

Are the old bill dusting for prints - with all that stuff there must be something. As I posted on audisrs - I am so gutted for you maate. Such a nice car and project and such a top bloke - always happens to the best :( Maybe time for a garage for the next one mate? Good luck with the insurance. James

That's a luggage restraint not a dog restraint...

It won't stop any decent sized dog. You need metal bars - no idea if audi do them though?

Best to ask the supplier I would have thought!

Check you have strengthening plates on your H&R's....otherwise you might get a cracked subframe...just like me!

I'm 25, pay £1250 with mods of B7 brakes, MTM 420 and adjustables all round.

That's with 1 yr NCB, London and one claim. Not too bad i think!

Not sure - i've got teh receipt for them at home. But i'd say no more than 30,000 and probably more like 20,000. I guess it's just one of those things where some things go and other don't!
