Sounds like it could be the realay mate i would start with that, it should tell you whicth one it is on the fuse box cover try changing it with one from someone else's car (the same make of car!) see what happins?.

ive just bought an A4 sport with leather seats and i want to put lcd screens in the head rests,but i wont get the car till november so i cant measher the headrests so what size do i get 6"5, 7" does anyone no what size i can get to fit??
