Re: Anti roll bars
I fitted them on mine and extra work was need. The front bar need an extra bush between the arb and droplinks to avoid exessive stress on the c link as the front arb is about 20mm too narrow and the casting it installs into need some grinding for clearance of the locating collar. The rear needed spa...

I’ve had Pirelli, Goodyear F1 and Michelins on mine. Michelins are night and day better, massive improvement.

Re: An upgrade to the stage2 C6 RS6
Mine made 609bhp std with no map on MRC’s rollers and Doug told me that the time C6 is still the daddy its the gearbox in the C7 that makes the difference. C6’s are usually 20mph faster than C7’s at Vmax. I was recently chatting with Doug at MRC, he told me the difference in top speed C6 v C7 was c...

Re: An upgrade to the stage2 C6 RS6
Audi could barely give them away. I bought one in 2009 and it came with a significant discount. It’s not a classic just because the numbers are low. Fundamentally the C7 is better in every aspect, and comes with more power to boot . It was a good car at the time, bit of a flat track bully. I enjoye...

Re: An upgrade to the stage2 C6 RS6
C7 is the obvious answer, i’ve got a C6 and love the looks of the C7. But im not sure i’d part with the C6 for one. The engine is increasingly looking fragile as it ages and its got a certain image around the bradford area which im close too. Theres also less than 300 C6’s in the UK compared to 1000...

Re: Anyone owned this on here?
Before the accident that was a £30k car with that mileage. I’d budget £10k to fix that, minus the cat D effect on value its not worth really worth repairing unless you can do it yourself

Yes, completely different league in terms of support. Makes the car feel much better to drive.welwynnick wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2019 9:22 pmAre the wingbacks more heavily sculpted than the standard seats?

Re: Installed RS5 Wingback’s into RS6 C6
Yes, there painted to match the leather. Wanted the seats to look better than factory, the backs are plain plastic so I had them trimmed in thinned leather. That meant the bases need to be colour coded or they’d look odd.
