I guess with all these driver aids you have to have your wits about you, though my car has side assist (when it comes) I will still probably glance sideways to double check!!

You will always get conflicting views on running in, but if you're already looking for LC it sounds as though you've decided which way to go! My wife's SQ came with roof bars as standard, my RS comes in the New Year and I'd assumed it would also come with bars, is it worth asking your dealer?

I've never used it but my nephew applied it to badges on his VW a little while ago and I was impressed with the finish, I actually thought they were replacement badges. He is quite handy and i suspect would make a far better job of it than me but it certainly doesn't look like it's going to peel off...
