Re: Time to break open the piggy bank again...

A T piece connected with the turbos that broke when they were taking the box out they said... They suggested it would be the end of the week...

Re: Bit of ATF help
I chickened out of the Citreon oil and got the VW audi spec, its really just not worth risking the gearbox for a saving of 50 quid! Should arrive monday as VW apparently only have 2 litres of the stuff in the whole of Ireland??!!! Good man ;) I just had a local garage change the ATF on mine day bef...

Re: Bit of ATF help
Looking around the web, it seems that the oem part number is G 052 162 A[x] - Where [x] = The amount you get G 052 162 A1 = 0.5 L plastic bottle G 052 162 A2 = 1.0 L plastic bottle G 052 162 A6 = 20L cuboid metal drum Looking at my own 20L drum (still half left over from when I did my A6 4.2 ATF cha...

Unit20 are the nearest to you and I think they now use Rich from Viper Tuning (tried and trusted) to perform their live remapping. If you are prepared to travel, MRC have now done quite a few of these with fantastic results. Have a look on YT for MRC RS6. The stage one IIRC will give you around abou...

Problem is, having an RS6 makes it difficult to save!

Re: Radio noise
Have a simailar fault on my RNS-E, though on FM. The signal will just seem to lose lock. I'm gonna be getting Craigyb to upgrade all my innards to the new TT digital jobbie to kill 3 birds with one stone hopefully - fix the fault, give me digital TV and give me DAB radio all in one fell swoop. Maybe...

Re: Unblocking drain holes
Cool, cheers shop. Should have added to this thread really but hey ho.. Is there an easy way to pull the passenger footwell carpet back to get at the canbus module? Seems to be loads of plastic trim to remove.. presumably remove all that and then just pull the carpet back or is there more to it? Had...
