Re: Rusty Exhaust Tips (Black optic)

I had this - Stansted Audi replaced complete back boxes as good will.

Have both an RS4 + S3 through them and have built a good reationship with them - the "refurb" option was not recommended.

Cheers

Coked up Engine?

Dear All, The following codes were logged approx 500 miles ago, Audi did the diagnostics which indicated both ECUs were faulty. This being extremely unlikey, Audi technical advised updating to new 0090 software (from 0080). Car ran fine for next 500 odd miles. 17819/P1411/005137 Secondary Air Inject...

Re: SW0090 Update

SW0080 - 7000RPM limiter until oil reached 60 degrees; since SW0090 loaded - 7000 RPM limiter removed when temp reaches 54 degrees (honest!)

Car is stock

Can I therefore assume some something else has been changed/updated as part of this software "upgrade"?

Re: SW0090 Update

Thanks Sonny - agree re. the cold start. I didn't have any of the symptoms which typically are cured by the 0090 software but Audi UK advised garage to do this as the fault finding diagnostics came up with a blank on the fault codes. So - I'm waiting on the car going into limp home mode again, log t...

SW0090 Update

Dear All, Can anyone describe the differences between 0080 and 0090 - just had the 0090 upgrade. Apart from running at 1600RPM on start up for 30 secs odd + 7000RPM limit removed at 54 degrees rather than 60 - any other changes? I had a series of fault codes logged, reset, came back + upgraded to 00...

Re: Confirmation on Best Tyres for the RS4

Fault Codes - Advice Please

Dear All, The EPC light came on along with car going into limp home mode; engine switch off/on reset the limp home mode but left the EPC light on. Audi have told me the following fault codes were logged - they have reset and car is running OK with EPC light off. Any advice/suggestions on what would ...

Wheel Cleaning Question

Just had 4 new tyres fitted; any top tips for getting rid of the old very sticky gunk where the old wheel weights were stuck on? Must needs something pretty harsh and abrasive to shift it?
