Hmmm, this is getting confusing. Went through all the threads on this and it seems people think the 275 is better, but then originally the 255 wasn't available or something so they didn't have a choice. But the general consensus seems to be to go for the wider one. I really don't know what to do!! (...

Thanks for the advice. One last question, it isn't only people with the SS+ that are using these F1 tyres, cause mine's the standard spec? Looks like I'm going to have to change only the back two tyres today cause the local garage has only got two in stock, and then I'll do the front two on Monday. ...

RE: do i need to replace all 4 tyres?

Just careless when first got the car! I'm a bit more careful now! Puncture yesterday was in a country lane so was just unlucky. Sounds like the goodyears are the best replacement. I'm assuming everyone fits them on the same alloys, it,s just that the tyre place is a bit concerned ordering them when ...

do i need to replace all 4 tyres?

Got a puncture last night and car taken back home on back of lorry. Now got to decide which tyres to buy. Fronts have only 3 mm left, and exeter audi have said i should therefore change all four wheels (it's the nearside rear wheel with the puncture). Any comments on whether I really need to replace...

I think I'll call them again and ask to speak to someone else if the first person says he's never heard of any problems re DRC with the RS4, as the last guy said. Does anyone know anywhere better within a reasonable distance that would have experience of these things? As far as I'm aware both Plymou...

When I first get in the car and the aircon comes on it smells pretty damp and there is more of a problem with misting then I remember there being previously. It'll be one of the things I'll be asking about when I get it serviced in the next couple of weeks.

1st service due - any advice?

Hi everyone, my RS4 is due for it's first service in the next couple of weeks. Is there anything I need to know, ie best dealer ( I live in Exeter, so feedback on Exeter Audi welcome), and the issues re DRC worry me - is there anything I need to ask the dealer to be checking? I rang Exeter Audi and ...

Sorry to pester you Ima07, but could you pm me the letter as well. No problems yet but I do hardly any mileage, but equally would make a large bill all the more annoying!

RE: Re: RE: Those annoying Sportlines

Definitely far too many B7 RS4s around. Took a flight from Exeter airport at the weekend and left the car in Long Stay and there were not one but two other B7 RS4 avants parked there, both dechromed in black! I mean it's not the biggest airport carpark in the world and you've got three RS4s in it!

I was under the impression any windows will block out UV, but I might be wrong. Certainly my two have never got sunburnt in the back.

Also the middle rear seat definitely doesn't have isofix; my wife somehow manages to squeeze in between the two baby seats on either side!!

Which two roads were you talking about zerok66? I'm Exeter based and your description's got me curious!

I'm still loving it - it's the first ridiculously quick car I've had but it's so easy to drive. For me, knowing it's helping not get me in to trouble if I'm a tad too exuberant, is part of the appeal. You're right though in your post in your intro thread (nice car by the way!), it's impossible to dr...
