Currently considering this also for my plus, since my repairs don't seem to last many months either. I track the car occasionally, but main focus is road usage. I don't want to go lower either. Can you comment on handling and comfort? Also, has anyone information about fitting the H&R anti roll bars...

I was there too in September with my RS6 plus. Stock all around, except for front pads (Movit Pro, amazing pads but noisy) The car was perfect. One lap of a traditional track like the GP track will strain the car a lot more the Nordschleife. You really can feel that they honed RS6 on that track, eve...

Thumbs up, very interesting project.

I would assume CAN interaction between Motronic and Tiptronic (and other modules) will be a challenge. Have you got a solution for these issues from APR already?

Congrats :)

Driving in manual mode helps a lot too, using engine braking when slowing, and shifting up earlier when not pushing.

Long trip, steady 100 kph and running for 50 km more after range shows 0 km :)

Naturally, in Germany and at the Ring I would get 200 km from a tank.

My suspension is now giving a squeeking sound when driving, is this normal with DRC-failure? Even standing still, if you push the rear to make suspension move, it makes a squeeking sound. I would appreciate a print or a link to official guidelines with DRC. What does the factory maintenance manual s...

Digging out the old post. I promised some pics, here the new versus old design: http://picasaweb.google.fi/jpeltopuro/Movit_370

The flange thickness and vane design do seem different. Can't comment on impressions though. The 4 is now with a new owner, and I'm with a 6 plus :)

RE: This sounds scary

Is the DRC issue road salt related? I heard a rumour, that the leaks appear from joints, where there is an aluminium hose and a steel washer, causing chemical corrosion with water. The issue is worse with road salt. Easy fix would be changing to correct material washers when renewing the system. But...

Will do, but they do look similar in the testing pictures. I think the change is in disc "flange" thickness and vane design.

Nice to hear more about the extensive testing at wet track days. The Movit procedure seemed quite a bit harder. For me, the only problem has been time. But solving real world issues just takes time, and I'm confident the issue is solved with the new design. Thankfully there are no track days in the ...
