I have a steering wheel badge that came off my 2007 RS4 car. The black paint has rubbed off a bit around the S and 4, but a bit of carefull touching up would sort it. The badge will just push into the two small holes on the alloy surround. the reason I know this is because I prised it off before Aud...

Valved Milltek For Sale
If there is anybody interested in buying my valved, non res. Milltek, I've just put it on ebay. I fitted the exhaust in Dec.08 but it has only done about 6k. I've just sold my RS4 (which was probably the best car I've owned bar none) and I didn't realise what an awsome sound the Milltek made (even a...

RE: Knock Knock
Mine developed a knocking noise from the front near side, about 6weeks after the front shocks were changed (DRC failure). I had the car back to the dealer 3 times and the techs said it was the exhaust (Miltek). Eventually the master tech got involved and he stripped down the suspension himself and f...

RE: Help! strange behaviour after disconnecting the battery
I don't know about the boot release (I haven't got one) but when my battery was disconnected, I had to reset the driver's seat inflation by using the menu display. The instructions are in the handbook.

On my resonated Miltek setup, I had what could be called a rattle although I think a creak would be more accurate as noise descriptions go. It was caused by the front frame cross member coming in contact with the exhaust. At rest, it looked like there was clearance (paper thin) but with heat, it ex...

Rattling from the front
I have a very annoying rattle from the front of the car, which seems to be on the nearside. It's been in to the dealer twice now, the first time they lubricated the exhaust mounting rubbers,(which didn't solve the problem) and the second time they cable tied the valves on the rear box of my non-res....

Sprint Blue Paint
Here's a con. I've got a small stone chip on the front skirt so I thought I would buy a small touch-up from Audi (normally 2 small containers with a brush for colour and laquer about £5), which is enough to do 50-100 chips. Anyway because Sprint Blue is apparantly a 'lifestyle' colour, Audi only sup...

RE: Re: SERVICE
17100 miles and first service due in 500miles. I do a lot of town driving but I sometimes get up to 36mph on the motorway! Joking apart my trip comp. says that I've averaged 18mph in the last 4000miles - next car's a Nissan Micra and several holidays a year in the Caribean with the money I've saved.

RE: Updated MMI Sat Nav on B7 RS4
I find the knob is over sensitive (I thought getting older would have sorted that problem but that's another story) and spend a lot of time wizzing round the alphabet dial trying to select the right letter/number/list etc etc, and if the road you want isn't on the list, you've had it. Altogether ove...

I had my S4 stolen and I was in the living room at the time! They cut a hole in my back door and stole the keys which I had left out on a unit. I didn't realise till the next morning. I was paid out but I had to go through the Financial Ombudsman to get the Ins. Co. to pay out a fair price (No gap i...

RE: Aluminum Marks
Mine's the same and it seems to be getting worse with every wash. I had exactly the same problem with the brightwork on my S4 B7. The dealer said he would replace under warranty but because he couldn't guarantee that there wouldn't be any minor sqeaks or rattles after fitting (all the internal door ...
