RE: Fog light replacement air intakes?

Hi, I think you can get them with and without lights incorporated. I think they were developed/used in the 993 GT2, the air scoops feeding cool air to the front brakes, and without the smaller spot lights. There are various porsche parts specialists that sell them online, although when I come to it ...

RE: Re: RE: Interior

Hi, I had similar issues with mine - heater control only worked on speed 4 and no cool air. We've replaced various pipes, the one closest to the interior has a valve which can block, we've also replaced the condenser, the pump seems fine so after this we may need to replace the heater matrix which i...

RE: RS2 Tyre Set Up

Good choice re the F1s. I've been running these for a year now and am really pleased with them. I've been running mine at 36 all around, although recently I've been trying 38 all round. For me, and the rounds around us 38 seems good, although as outside temps rise I'm likely to drop down to 36 again...

Hi, I use mine daily and it is a delight. Its a very flexible package as a commuter, sports car, luggage mover etc The cost of the parts is another thing, and the lack of availability of parts than other than through a main dealer generally only adds to the cost of running it. My advice is buy with ...

I went for the Goodyear F1 Assymetrics after a good test report in Evo magazine. They have strong side walls and distribute the weight evenly across the tyre. (errr, apparently! Google them!). I have nothing to compare them to as when I bought the car it had the wrong size tyres on. But so far they ...

Yes, I've heard of this too. There's information on this on s2forum.com too. I considered it but my mechanic advised me against it from a 'its there for a reason' point of view

Hi, I spoke with Opie Oils and after they had listened to my uses for my RS2 recommended Silkolene Pro S 5W40 ester synthetic, which is good for cold starts. My car was serviced a month ago so its a little too early to comment on oil consumption. They are well worth a call and a chat. Cheers, Simon

Hi, Sorry, I'm a bit late into this thread but regarding top mounts I think there are two types available from Audi, the 'blue' versions being the better type to go for. I bought mine from VAG for @ £30 + VAT and the part number on my invoice was 857412323B. These were recommended and fitted by Ando...

Hi, Id be interested if you have the leather rear headrests. Also the exhaust would also be of interest if it is standard and in good condition.

RE: Advice: Accumulater/power steering pump fitted...vibrati

Hi there, to conclude on the above the PS pump from GSF has been returned as a warranty claim and the new pump from Quattro Corner is working really well. The vibration I noted earlier through the peddles/steering wheel (a sort of tuning fork vibration) was found to be from the heat shield next to t...

Hi, I am also quite new to the RS2 having bought one in February and have been replacing some of the parts as required. With mine we have replaced the brake discs and pads, suspension bushes, suspension top mounts and the aircon pipe work. I'm not a mechanic and I dont work on my car. I have found a...

Many thanks

Simon
