Good Girl!

My wife says the RS4 is the best car we've had (Out of lots of serious drivers cars). She used to drive it more than me.

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: misfire update

Interesting reading. I ran my fuel down today and filled up again incase my problem is caused by bad fuel. No problems in 2nd & 3rd gear accelerating. Unfortunately with so much traffic in rush hour I couldn't test in higher gears. Will do tomorrow as I've got a long run If I still have the problem ...

am going to discuss with the tech as to what the problem is and we can go from there.

Keep us in the loop.

I've got 4 hrs of motorway driving on Thursday so I'll try with fresh super unleaded and see if there is any difference.

Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: misfire?

I had a problem with a loss of 5.5k kick and on accelerating it would appear to hesitate fuel starvation or missfire. No faults were logged but did a power function test and the flap stayed shut. Double checked the exhaust vaccum pipes and resealed. new flap and solenoid and the smooth power was ba...

RE: Re: RE: Re: misfire?

Jonathon. I seem to have the same problem you describe. A slight slow down of acceleration at about 4200 rpm with no 5.5k boost. I've noticed this at high gear, high motorway speeds. When I tried to replicate in 2nd or 3rd gear it seemed ok and pulled like a train and I got my 5.5k boost. Back on th...

RE: Rs4

I had my 911 Turbo stolen from my previous house (on a busy-ish road) via burglary. I ended up moving house (not just for this reason) to a cul de sac in a quiet location. I did get the 911 back (tracker), luckily still in mint condition. The thief's were in the car in traffic when the cops caught t...

Just had mine done, picked up Xmas eve. Rob Chorley in Service dept is very knowledgeable on the RS4 and DRC issues. mine's out of warranty but sorted under the DRC extended warranty from Audi UK. No need to take the letter, Camberley will just sort it.

Mines in today for service and MOT. Just heard that I've got the DRC leaking on all 4 corners. Just waiting for the warranty approval (my cars 4 years old, 49k and FASH). It's my first visit to Camberley so hopefully will be better than Slough (crap). I'll post my comments when I get my car back.

Wise words!
Glad you're sorted. I'll make a note as I was thinking about uprating my ARB's to Hotchkis.

Sorry. Got carried away with a rant. I would not recommend Slough Audi. I've call them 3 times in the past about 3 specific vehicles advertised and never had a call back. Service is also disappointing, not calling back. Some owners on the forum recommend Camberley which I plan to use next time. I un...
