S4 Avant - Full Milltek System

I have now reduced the price to £14600. http://pistonheads.com/sales/1132144.htm I have had a fair bit of interest, but a lot more time wasters than usual. I don't know if I am reducing my audience having the full Milltek system fitted, it really doesn't sound like a boy racer car. Plus no modificat...

Hi Elmo Glad you were pleased with the old exhaust, I had to clear it and loads of other stuff out of the garage to make room for the bike. The standard Milltek catback alone (I had resonated) definitely brings the V8 to life as it does sound far to muted as standard. When I put the highflow downpip...

Audi S4 Avant - Full Milltek System, just Serviced.

Hi

I don't post in here often, but thought I would post a link to my S4 for sale on Piston Heads:

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1132144.htm

Would obviously like it to go to an enthusiast.

Cheers,
Ant

That sounds great, how much difference is there between resontated and non-resontated? Are the down pipes mainly a performance improvement rather than noise? I have never heard a non-resonated to compare, but pootling around town the resonated isn't that much louder which was important to me with k...

I had the Milltek Catback resonated and the sound was definitely improved over standard, yet it was still missing something. I had the sport cats downpipes installed a couple of months ago and now it sounds awesome giving it a bit of welly and is definitely faster also. This is pretty much how mine ...

OEM RS4 Alloys

Hi Guys I have been thinking of replacing the standard alloys on my car for a while now because of various kerb marks and in-grained brake dust. My favorite still has to be the B7 RS4 alloys to go on my Dolphin Grey Avant, even though the Sportec Mono's are also tempting. I don't want to go for repl...

Power - The next Stage

Hi Guys I currently have a resonated catback system on the S4 which I have had for a couple of months now and it sounds sooo much better than the original. I have been looking at the AMD Performance packages and what else I can do. So I have a couple of questions: 1. As I already have the catback sy...

Right I just had these fitted and the tyre fitter pumped all the tyres to 32 psi and said this is what he recommends. I told him 39 psi is on the door sill, but he thought that was high.

What pressure is everyone else running?

Thanks again,
Ant:)

I ordered 4 F1 Assymetrics of www.mytyres.co.uk last Friday which came to £486, but I am still waiting for them to be delivered. I will let you know my thoughts for when they do arrive and I have arranged fitting.

Thanks for the recommendations!

New Tyres..??

Hi I have only had the S4 for a couple of months now, but it is in need of 4 new tyres. What do people recommend and any good places online where I can get a good deal? I have seen Goodyear Eagle F1's which come in at £500 fitted and I don't want to spend too much more to tell the truth, so would li...
